For me it's tacos and salsa. It could be fajitas, crunchy ground beef tacos, carnitas, or grilled chicken tacos, but every week I'm making tacos for the family. Homemade salsa is getting made almost weekly as well.

Just curious what everyone makes the most often at your house. Could be a dish or type of cuisine but I figure everyone has something they go to all the time.

Monday dinner is always some type of seafood. Typically a shrimp or salmon dish. We have a rotation of go-to recipes for each.

That's because Tuesday is trash day so we can get the stinky shells/fish skin off the property quickly.

We rotate a lot of new and different stuff....

I'd say our most often would probably be a type of pasta, though. If in a hurry or don't want to think about it our go to is generally like a chicken sausage, tomatoes, spinach, etc., mixed in with either a penne type pasta or a stuffed pasta like a tortellini.

Lately, the wife has been on a stir fry kick. We do all the sauces from scratch, so wouldn't say it's a go to, but it's currently the type of style/food we cook most often.

We have so many after-school activities that we have to do fairly quick dinners (or pot roast in a slow cooker).

Lots of pasta
Stir-fried or flat-top chicken or beef w/rice
Steamed, roasted or sauteed veg
Breakfast for dinner -- eggs, bacon, french toast
Tacos

Then usually a fried rice with leftovers later in the week

I would be a lot more adventurous in the kitchen if I didn't have to sit and think about a grocery list.

Love to cook; hate figuring out what I need on hand.

I had to read your post 3 times to figure out what you were asking, but 2 tbsp.

Mr Bs Bistro in Nola has a solid recipe that I'll tweak slightly. I'll add more lemon juice and/or W, plus extra salt.

I also like to smash a shrimp head into the mix early in the cook.
Staff - take out the trash.

Enchiladas or tacos, pasta, and meat loaf. If all we had on our menu was some variation of those, I'd be perfectly happy.

If you want to cook fish on other days, just put the shells/fish skin in the freezer. It won't stink, and you can throw it in the trash on trash day.

Most often it's some kind of pork tenderloin, with different sauces.
