I got a NinjaFoodie for Christmas back in 2020. I haven't used it much, but of late it has become impossible to get the thing to work.

I can select the mode just fine (Air Crisp almost always), and it lets me set the temp, (although there is some small amount of frustration with getting the thing to respond to pressing the arrows), but the time indicator simply will not flash or let me input the cooking time. Eventually it gets tired of waiting for me to press the start button and goes back to Standby and I (attempt to) start the whole process over again.

There's nothing about this in the Troubleshooting section of the manual. Anybody else have this issue?

Honestly, analog controls would be awesome. Push buttons like on an old car stereo for mode select, and dials for time and temp. Or am I just being a Luddite?

Thanks for the heads up on this thing making a good paperweight. You're not a luddite by any means. And nothing, I mean NOTHING beats a good set of analog controls.

My sister (who gave it to me) has one, and loves it. I texted her about the issues, and haven't heard back.

I love what it can do when it decides to work. Kind of like how I loved Caleb Chapman as a deep threat. When he played.

I will also note that with over 10,000 ratings on Amazon, 86% are 5 stars. Although several of the 1 star ratings had the same issue with the control buttons that I'm having.
