I realize its a bit of an oxymoron, but what is the best place for Sushi in Aggieland for prom date?

This is spot on. Bluefin is better quality by a small margin. But the atmosphere of 40 Tempura makes it the best choice.

I realize I'm late to the thread but those are the three in our sushi rotation.

Blue Fin looks pretty incredible. Will have to try it on a trip back to B/CS.

so with five tables, is it impossible to get in without a reservation at blue fin?

Veritas had great sushi back when I used to live there.

I don't know if they take reservations. There are about 5 tables, plus you can sit at the sushi bar.

Thought the same thing, but it is far enough away from students(as weird as this may sound). You should be good if you want to pop in during the week. By far the best spot in town for quality, presentation, and I would even say atmosphere if you enjoy that type of ambiance. They do have a couple TV's at the bar for game viewing.
