my house came with a natural gas line plumbed to the back patio, but every natural gas grill setup i see usually runs in the hundreds of dollars. i've always used my trusty charcoal grill as the main grill, but a searing station would be nice for searing sous vide steaks.

are there any budget friendly natural gas grill setups out there?

you can get a cheap nat gas griddle, but it's at least a hundred plus of american dollars

Are you asking for a decent gas grill that costs less than $100?

doesn't have to be less than $100. i mean, that would be nice,, just looking at my options. i don't need/want a multi thousand dollar outdoor kitchen. and right now one option i'm thinking about is just converting my propane turkey fryer burner to nat gas. kills 2 birds with one stone, don't need propane tanks anymore, and when i want to sear a steak i'll just plop a cast iron skillet on it

Do that then. Just have to change the orrifice, if yours is replaceable.

I had a propane tank on my gas grill and later converted to natural. I removed the orifice, so I'm not choking down the flow. Makes a HUGE difference.

I love the high BTUs and the flames. It also has a lower tray that I put smoke chips for salmon and steaks.

It works for just the two of us.
