Weber Smokey Joe if you want to go with a charcoal grill.

Get a small griddle at Walmart...does good with burgers and brats plus you can cook peppers and onions as well as bfast...eggs bacon pancakes.

Edit to add agree with Burr on charcoal, hard to beat the flavor...

We camped for years (5 people) and the best money we spent was on a three burner camp chef. Buy the grill box and the 3 burner griddle and you are good for almost anything. Heavy but portable. Heck mine is 12 years old and still going strong despite about 9 years of heavy use.

Weber Q1200, Blackstone 22 (you can always turn off a burner), or the PK TX is pretty sweet for a portable charcoal grill

Looks like it. I don't think I would use it to smoke, I have an Akorn that does a good job of that. But this would be great to fire up quickly for burgers, steaks etc. and I would definitley use the rotisserie for chickens and maybe even a prime rib at Christmas! I don't have room for it right now but once I get my patio extension and outside bar/cooking area done I'll probably get one.
