Ok, it simmered for an hour and I hit it with the boat motor (while the pasta was boiling). Not really any additional active time cooking there. I folded laundry and screwed around on here while that was taking place. The immersion blender was personal preference for tonight. I could have gone either way on any other given night

I mean it's a simple fact that your Italian grandma's "enhanced prego" will result in a worse product than many other recipes and save zero time in the process.

Well played my friend, well played. The Italian Grandma was a nice touch. Probably should have figured it out from the Rotel and Cilantro in the pasta sauce. Looking back, even the choice of username should have raised my antenna

I guess this went over my head. My enchilada sauce literally has only 2 common ingredients with my Bolognese. Ground beef and garlic.
