I don't know much about the place other than you can go there to pick strawberries, etc... There is a guy who comes by our office about once a month with a truck loaded with fruit. I buy something every time, but this time I got the strawberries. WOW! They are huge and so good. Anybody go pick fruit at their farm in Alvin?

Frobergs

I grew up in Alvin/Manvel and had never been there, but my mom gets fresh vegetables there all the time.

Last spring break, I took the kids to pick strawberries - it was really a lot of fun.

Frobergs is awesome! I suggest getting there early for the strawberry picking, the crowds can get pretty big later in the day during nice spring days. Greak's smokehouse is the little shack next door, make sure you step in there to check that out while you are there, lots of good meats in there.

We take the girls every year to pick strawberries and shop at the farmer's market. Fun little place.

I also bought grapefruit. My wife texted me from work to say they are the best she's ever eaten. Who knew?

Drove by this weekend.....and wondered what the crowd was about.
