Hello all! I'm staying in a small town for the week but I'd like to make a recipe I have made before that I love. If any of y'all like brussels sprouts I highly recommend it:

My problem is, I don't know if the grocery store here carries brussels sprouts. I'll find out when I go there again, but if they don't... what else could I use to give that flavor/substantial texture? Any suggestions? I was thinking maybe asparagus, but I wanted to see what y'all thought.

Side note, this is by far my favorite board on Texags. :-)

Cabbage would probably be your best bet.

any vegetable (or combo) you could grill or roast such as asparagus, zucchini, squash, peppers, onions.

Sounds delicious. I agree with MD. Any roastable vegetable would be good.
