Just found out my daughter has been selected to be the next Assistant Professor of Military Science (I think that's the proper job title) at A&M!

B-1 Class of '09. Major, US Army. Logistics officer. One tour Iraq with 1st Cav, 2 tours Kuwait (1 with 1st Cav and one with Texas NG) (currently there now). Graduate of the Command and General Staff College (CGSC) and the School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS).

That's awesome for her. Instructor jobs are some of the most rewarding in the military, as long as one does it well and takes it very seriously PT is going to be vital because that's all cadets do well, so that's all they respect.

I still remember my APMS, Dario Lorenzetti. A model officer worthy of the greatest respect, may he rest in peace.

If she does this right, she will mold careers for decades to come. I wish her the best of luck.
