Anyone have any history on this battalion?
Besides what can be found on the internet. Any personal connections or stories?

I was in 2-70 AR in 24ID at Fort Stewart, GA 1977-1978. Activated the Bn. We had a 2LT who was a good artist and he painted up a white plywood exhibit for the HQ showing the locations of the 70th Tank BN starting from WWII. Wish I had a picture of it but that was long before cell phones, etc.

The unit crest had 'Strike Swiftly' on it. You can find plenty of historical stuff online on this unit.
