How long do you want to ignore this user?
Is it just loose use of the weapons?

I dunno. I'm not super tactical, but I suspect he's kinda sloppy with his weapons handling. The way he grips the firearms. Not locking out his arms to form a more stable shooting position. Not leaning into his shots, which would also help stabilize the shooting. Doesn't really look like he's even aiming very much, though at that range may not need to.

My guess is they're still learning (as evidenced by his instructor holding him the whole time) and everyone on the internet is an expert.

Kinda sloppy? That is horrendous. Definitely not learning stage because no instructor would allow that to happen in the first place. You might be this lackadaisical at the end of a five hour dumpex but if this is serious training it is basically an indictment of how to not be effective with weapons.

I'm guessing it's a pog unit of some sorts doing an annual check in the box thing. Not familiar with Army patches though.

Dude is an E-7 - no idea of his MOS - and has no idea how to properly grip a pistol. Although, I will say that it is entirely possibly to get to that rank in the Infantry and never have any need to handle a pistol, because your assigned weapon is an M-16/M-4, M-249, or M-240B

He does look like he's point shooting, especially with the M-4, although that may be one of the ACOG variants that have crude iron sights cast into the top.

The guy holding his shoulder is there to control his walking pace to keep the line of shooters more or less straight, so nobody gets dangerously far in front of or behind the line. (You can see other shooters behind him.)

My guess would be that this guy is in a non-combat MOS of some sort, and is doing this training because he got assigned to one of the 'Advise and Assist' brigades. (Note the "Advisor" patch on the sleeve.)

Not to run defense for the army, but i could see a familiarization period where they're not even shooting at targets. "First run we just want you to get the feel for how to safely complete this course of fire. Obey your instructor and put your rounds in the berm."

I went through mostly before this "post everything online" culture began, and am glad of it. Guys do stupid stuff. Guys have fun. Guys take things less than 100% serious. Sometimes a microscope is a tool for refining - but it can quickly become a wedge which pits folks against each other.

That patch is the 1st Security Forces Training Brigade. Their job is to train foreign forces.
Just speculating here, but he could be playing a role to give junior NCO's something to correct as part of train the trainer program.
