Last month, I attended the 1ID Society Reunion. Got to hang out with a lot of Vietnam Vets, and it was quite awesome. I met a lot of Army Aviation folks who had just the craziest stories ever. What I didn't see were many post 9-11 Vets there.

If you are around, the next reunion is in NOLA, AUG 9-11, 2023. I'm going to make an effort to be there depending on my next duty station. In the meantime, if you are a 1ID alum...you may know that we have a unique standing on the White House lawn. Check this out, as the Society is pushing forward with a 9-11 memorial on the grounds.

Donate if you want...they've raised about 350K so far.

It took years, literally, and a lot of congressional support to get a stone emplaced at Arlington commemorating the helicopter crews in Vietnam.
