I had the chance to get to know the SGM through my dad. He was on Corps Staff '84-'86 and got to know him as their bull. Pretty funny story about dad's old lady (the corps commander) drinking beer in their fridge meant for the SGM, and my dad having to hurry and buy more beer for him before SGM got back to their room for a drink. Talk about Ol' Army.
