Lee Hassman passed last night due to throat/multiple cancers. He was a great friend of mine and really special guy. He was a Senior in K-2 when I was a freshman and then later in his career ended up in the same Carrier (USS Theodore Roosevelt) squadron (VAW-124). He flew in the first Gulf War and Bosnia in the early 1990's, served 20 years of duty in the Military with distinction. He was serving in College Station as a advisor to the Corps (since 2010). Any of you who were CT's in the late 80's may remember him as you entered Duncan Dining Center, he would often times stand next to the trays as everyone entered.

Most of all he loved Aggie Football more than anyone I've ever known.
