APKWS? Technically a 2.75 inch rocket, but guided so really a missile. If that's what it is.

Confirmed from an A-10 pilot, bird strikes. Probably something local to that squadron on that deployment.

My favorite pilot's squadron had a Viper struck by lightning during an exercise in Sweden. Fried some electronics.
