Anyone here know of any modern ( or semi-recent) books/ papers on current military defensive strategy. (Conventional, not nuclear or WMD)
Specifically modern fortification techniques, earthworks, area denial.
I'm really interested to see what the modern thinking is vs some of the defensive strategy employed in WWII. Obviously much has been done with offensive techniques, but I really can't find much or anything on current defensive technique/ philosophy.
