I'm going to Ft Bragg for a week to train some Airborne guys how to do other stuff. Should I wear a mech combat patch and tell them mech has more firepower or should I wear my 101st patch and tell them Airborne is an outdated practice kept only for tradition? This should be fun!

A dude coming into my area to teach me stuff and somehow makes a statement that a mech unit has more fire power, stating the obviuos, and then remarks about outdated tactics while in the same breath bragging about a brigade level air assault he did in OIF 1.

Leave that stuff at your home unit and don't wear a patch at all. How bout that?

Wear whichever combat patch you are the proudest of. If you want to try and piss off the Airborne guys while you are there, just start singing "She wore a rasberry beret" by Prince whenever you see them in their Airborne berets.
