My relative completed his ROTC apps, his A&M application upon receiving the advice I received here, though some were quite surly upon being questioned. My thread disappeared for some reason.

Nonetheless, your answers were given and he is seriously looking at A&M because what I was able to garner. It's now a waiting game.

He is comfortable at A&M, it's just a question if he can receive sufficient scholarship money. He's not from Texas. In any event, you have a wonderful institution and a great Corps of Cadets.

In case it wasn't mentioned before, a scholarship from the Corps will bump him down to in-state tuition rates. And I believe it was mentioned that over 80% of the Corps is on some type of scholarship.
