i see nothing wrong with it. if she didn't like the decision, she could've taken the banquet to another location that would accomodate.

Per Megyn Kelly on Fox today, apparently Olive Garden corporate agreed with her and has issued an apology. Or more likely, the negative publicity got to them.

It's hard to take your banquet elsewhere when you don't find out about the issue until you show up to set up.

How big was the flag? I don't see the issue here. It looks like someone should have asked a few questions about the kind of room they'd have when they made reservations.

See nothing wrong there...this is a 'free' country. OG free to tell customers they want a standard dining experience in their place of business. Others are 'free' not to dine there again.

OG doesn't really care about the apology...just damage control. If they are consistent about people not putting things up...banner, flag, etc., they have no reason to apologize.

For the pledge there could have been a small table display flag and which would have prevented all the fuss.
