Do you take the PFT test during the application process for the selection board to look at or while at OCS? just curious. I have tried looking this up but people gave mixed answers so I'm confused.

you'll likely run a couple in your screening before being accepted....best one will be on your application

you'll also get an inventory PFT as soon as you get there

back in the day, even though 225/300 was "first class", if you weren't running a 285 or better, you were hurting

Scimi- 225 is still "fist class" for those under 27. But if you don't run 270, you're a fatty-fatty-fat-fat.

thanks for the info guys. Would've asked my brother in law but he has been too busy with flight school so I didn't want to bother him.
