Anyone have a recommendation for a pediatric clinic that will allow delayed vaccines? I'm on the far west side but not too worried about how close it is. Thanks in advance

My kids are grown thankfully but most of the women I know who do the delayed vac schedule go to pediatricians in Boerne.

No personal experience, but friends have recommended Dr. V in Boerne https://abrazosoptimumhealth.com/ for what you are searching for.

"Allow?" My pediatrician has never allowed anything. They may recommend a course of treatment, but I make medical decisions for my child. I allow them to provide the course of treatment that I decide.

I mean "allow" as in provide services to kids not on the recommended schedule.

Check out Almouie Pediatrics. They have several locations across the city. Might fit what you are looking for.

Wonderkids Pediatrics could be a good option if they have openings

Any pediatrician should allow delayed vaccinations. It is up to you as the parent to consent to vaccinations and they can not be forced upon you. If your pediatrician refuses to see you due to not wanting to vaccinate you have options.
Most children are healthy and do not require regular doctor visits apart from minor illnesses like strep, cold, flu, etc. You can go to an urgent care or Texas med clinic for these.
Find a pediatrician that doesn't force vaccines. Call around and ask the office staff about their requirements.

I feel just as indignant, but doctors, especially ob-gyns and pediatricians certainly medically bully people into doing things.

All my friends are having babies right now, and when you listen to some of these birth stories, you'd be shocked how often OB's override a patient's concerns or wishes. My wife and I were very fortunate that was NOT our experience at North Central Baptist with Women Partners, but that facility and practice were selected very intentionally.
