Same family owns both. Mi Tierra for tourists, La Margarita for more knowledgeable locals. Just saying .....

My wife likes La Margarita better. Don't tell her, but I think I like Mi Tierra. (We don't go to either often, so ours aren't "expert" opinions).

Mi Tierra has better food IMO, but I still rather go to La Margarita. Less tourists, better staff.
