My wife and I are thinking of dropping the kiddos off with the inlaws in Bandera one long weekend over the summer and spending the weekend at a resort in San Antonio. What are the best resorts for a relaxing weekend (nice pool, food, etc)? I'm from Marshall, so I'm not very familiar with SA.

Yeah, if you are dropping the kids then Hyatt Hill Country or JW Marriott will be FULL of kids and activity. Both can be nice, but Elian is a much better option if you want to get away.

La Cantera Resort. It recently underwent a major remodel and shouldn't be full of kids.

I think we are going to stay at La Cantera Resort on the 7th Floor. It looks really cool online. I look forward to chilling, without kids, and doing absolutely nothing.

Money. It's more expensive to stay on the 7th floor but it comes with more amenities.
