There's a 4 lane street in my neighborhood that is in terrible shape. It has terrible ruts that force people to drive almost up against the curb or over the center lane maker to avoid. Does anyone know who to contact to request that it get on a list to be repaved?

Go to the City of San Antonio website and to the Transportation and Capital Improvements (TCI) area. Somewhere amongst all that is an area called Street Maintenance, and they will have a list of streets scheduled for maintenance for the next five years. City council approves the updates to this list yearly. It is called the Infrastructure Maintenance Program (IMP). See if your street is on the list.

If it is not on the the list, contact your council district office and start complaining.

Also, call 311 and file a complaint there. TCI really does use that data for planning.

If there are any specific potholes, let them know the location and they will be out in a couple of days to fix them.

San Antonio - where it takes a couple of days to get a pothole filled, but we can rip out a statue within 8 hours of a city council vote.
