TIA, wife and I will be in SA for our anniversary tomorrow and are looking for a gourmet type of place to celebrate. No Mexican and no chains, I don't mind spending the money for a good steak or seafood place.

Bohanans for steak.
Luke for artsy fartsy food.
Seafood is probably Wildfish, but it's a chain.
Prolly a bunch of places at The Pearl.
Big date place for the longest time was Grey Moss Inn, but was kinda meh to me when I tried it.
Boudros was good down on the Riverwalk.

Silo is fun. Eat and drink your way around the pearl. There is a place on Grayson I want to try but forgot the name
I saw Southerliegh online and that was my pick.
Wife and I LOVE the Brazilian Churascarrias. Fogo de Chao or Texas de Brazil! LOVE LOVE LOVE the places.
Bliss is a good option, south of downtown. Silo is primo too.
Il Sogno at the Pearl is also a favorite.

I love looking at the dirty bird list. I feel like the taco joints that have a lower score on these lists always taste better.
Meh, I don't venture into the Heights very much so that Silo doesn't bother me.
I'm also a big fan of the kitchen cops, always fun to look at the list and compare the fare.

They really do. I refuse to look at this list. If I'm going to get salmonella at least my taco will be legit.
Bohanon's has a great bar, though the food is pricey for the quality IMO. I think Feast in Southtown is one of the better places I've tried so far. The restaurant at Hotel Emma is also pretty good.
Went to brigid recently and it was pretty fantastic. It's somewhat new to southtown.
