My grandmom is recently widowed, and we are quickly realizing she has not pumped gas, put air in her tires, or gotten cash in 40 years. Is there a full-service gas station near Specht Elementary?

Only one in all of SA is in Olmos Park, I think. Maybe get her a handicapped placard and she can do the pull up and honk thing?

Or find a filling station with a tire shop oil lube etc attached and see if she can get them to pump her gas.

Maybe?

Problem is you're looking for something old timey in a fabricated, big-box part of the world. Good luck.

There are two in Alamo Heights, both owned by the same guy. One is at New Braunfels at Brees (Exxon) and the other it at New Braunfels and Austin Highway (former Texaco). He also owns the Goodyear on Austin Highway.

He may own some others as well, but I don't know much about Stone Oak. Sorry.

thanks y'all. I called the Alamo Heights guy, and he was very helpful. He referred me to the Shell station at 281 and Thousand Oaks next to Chester's Hamburgers. Keep em coming if you know of any others.

The Shell station at 281 & Bitters.

Two pumps are Full Service. I don't think they can help in the withdrawing cash department, though.

Edit: Didn't read your response first, haha.

There is also one near Fort Sam Houston, if I remember correctly. It's across the street from the golf course.

That Shell is going to be the closest I bet. Mecca Dr (Hollywood Park) / Thousand Oaks.

Do you mean Shell at 281/Thousand Oaks? By the Hollywood Park FD? That's the only one I can think of , but I'm not sure it's still full service.

My mom took her to this Shell station next to Chester's today, and they were great. Thanks again for the feedback.
