well the wife and I finally broke down and bought a house in the 09. 2 mile commute couldnt be passed up. no worries though the house has a security system for all the alamo heights thugs

First recommendation is to learn all of the shortcuts to navigate through AH so you don't have to deal with the Broadway construction.

Second is being that you live in a place devoid of restaurants named Applebee's or Chili's is to go enjoy the local options.

Finally make sure you buy the wife a new range rover you don't want the neighbors to think y'all don't fit in.

Yeah I have worked in AH for almost 7 years so I know all the shortcuts and hotspots. It was really finally stomaching the home prices in the area vs our old place at bitters and blanco area

Up in San Antonio all the pretty people know
They better stay off of the west side where the black tar flows
They hide in their sheltered enclaves up around Olmos Park
They got their own policeman so they can stay out way past dark

No me gusta nada, it's always been that way
Never gonna get no different long as we got our way

Inner Loopers

Stay off Mulberry and follow the signs to Josephine like the detour says.

Congrats. About to move over there myself. Looking forward to being able to avoid 1604 and parts of 281 north of bitters for good.

The one shortcut through "Alamo Whites" that seems to have the most cops is on Corona by the high school heading toward North New Braunfels.

Got one ticket and was given a warning a few months later.

right now the most cops are between broadway and the damn as the construction has lead to increased traffic.

Whatever you do, avoid Broadway like the plague. Take New Braunfels everywhere.

Construction and cops pulling people over for going .25 over during the school zones. I work right off Broadway and we literally watch them pick off 3 or 4 people a day.
