really depends what cuisine and price range. shrimp paesano at paesanos (prefer quarry location), heard good things about bohanons and the palm for steaks, Rosarios for Mexican and margaritas, also boudros on the riverwalk. any preference?

Rainforest cafe

Off the beaten path but I love Mexican Manhattan on Soledad. The chilli con queso is amazing as are the cheese enchiladas, chicken soft tacos, bean and guacamole chalupas. If you go it looks like a hole in the wall from the street but go in and ask to sit on the patio and you will not be disappointed. If you get anything with a side of rice ask them to put chili on the rice. The owners have several kids who are Aggies as well.

Been awhile since I've eaten Mexican food so I'm leaning that way. Appreciate the suggestions!!!!

Haha! Well let me just say, it's been too long! Really only eat out when I travel for work and never cook mexican fare at the house other than the occassional fajitas.

Nowhere. I called an old friend last minute and ended up eating at his house. Didn't even get checked into the Drury until 12:30 AM.

I do appreciate the recs though, and may be back down there again this week, so hopefully I can try one of them.

The staff is very good. Always excellent service. Glad you enjoyed it.
