Saturday night on my way home from dinner, 1604/281 to canyon springs area, I counted around seven BC sherriffs cruisers.

Thought it might have been since it was a weekend night and they were doing one of their "increased safety weekend" patrols except that I am noticing them more and more.

Then this morning my brother told me he got a ticket issued by a BC sherriff at West Ave and Blanco rd for entering the left turn lane too early (approximated a 100yds at most). He also said their were two other BC cruisers that had people pulled over around the same intersection.

I didn't think they typically patrolled in town. I guess Parmaleau decided she couldn't manage the budget as is and needs more revenue

Good. Need to start pulling over people on the loops for going 15 under the speed limit as well.

Thanks for the FIFY. I would add "over 65 and barely can see over the steering wheel" in there as well but some get angry.

...I am actually glad we have her over Sheriff Patron/Good Ol'Boy.

Now if we can only find a way to get rid of the DA, Susan Reed, the police state that has been created in Bexar County will be somewhat bearable.

I agree with AgDev01. There has been an increase in cartel related activity in the 281 North area over the past couple of years. Some of it has been pretty brazen (ex: Stone Oak Pkwy area Los Zetas vs. SAPD SWAT standoff). Which is why, as soon as I can sell my house, I'll move my family further up into the Spring Branch area, and then declare that anyone living south of Borgfeld Road, is in creaton territory.
