talking about the big 18"x18". I saw a place a while back on craigslist that had them for $1/each that was located somewhere on Blanco but damned if I can remember.

Basically, $1 or less is my goal. lowe's/HD has them for about $3-4 before tax. My plan is to use them as pavers for a patio and then use an acid stain and seal them. Should look pretty cool and be relatively inexpensive if I can find them for the right price.

Go to Lowes or Home Depot and purchase Quikrete and 1x framing lumber. Make a frame for desired size of stepping stone and make your own. Not hard and fairly economical. See following link to give you some ideas:

That's a good suggestion and I had actually thought about doing that SA, but a 80lb bag of quickrete costs about $3.50 and will make .60 cubic feet.

an 18"x18" stone at 1.5" thick will be .28CF, so I'll be able to make two for about the price of one compared to if I purchased a pre-made one (about $1.75/each). I know there are places in town that sell them dirt cheap though; I found one on craigslist but the freaking listing expired and now I can't find the place that was selling them for a buck each now. I need about 200 of them, so an .75 cents or so plus the time to make them would really add up in this case.

I'm out at Keller materials and they are $4.75

I'm sure they would work something out if you bought 200 of them.

If you haven't already found something, Macon Concrete has them for good price. Just not a very convenient location.

Alamo Concrete Pavers located South of the Alamodome on Hoefgen makes them. I would think they would be a cheap as you could get.
