Structural Engineer for Foundation and Retaining Wall Issue

How long do you want to ignore this user?
Long story short we bought a house 2 years ago that has over 90 piers to stabilize the foundation and a retaining wall that needs to be reworked on one side. Recently that side of the house has started sinking some with cracks in the walls and doors that won't shut. The foundation company is going to adjust the piers on that side of the house to fix the issue but I want to find a good structural engineer to come out and assess the situation including designing the retaining wall so we hopefully don't have to worry about this happening again.

Any recommendations on a good structural engineer in the College Station area to help with something like this would be greatly appreciated.

Dudley would be the first stop but the problem should be EZ enough for any of them.

Curious:
Are these the
  • slant reif.conc piers?
  • Olshan
  • other?
...and the builder?

Thanks for the suggestion.

I'm not sure of the builder but I believe these are bell bottom concrete piers installed by Anchor Foundation about 5 or 6 years ago.

The Anchor reference has me thinking "typos" e.g.
  • Anchor does repairs, seldom new with 9-12 reif.conc slant piers (not 90?)
  • Olshan does 30+++ and saleman comes back to sell you more, even if driiling a hole inside the house
  • Anchor used to have a driller + bells cutter but the shafts were smaller than what NEW required but best for addtions and much more shallow than the real stable soil 15ft+ deep
Would love to read the outcome & whole saga someday.
