I am needing to change out the paneling on our house, What is the consensus on OSB vs plywood for behind the panels?

I am thinking OSB > Tyvek > Hardie.

Your inkling is a standard practice approach. Effective and Economical. Could use ZIP Board instead of OSB and Tyvek Wrap but it's not as cost effective
