Currently in the market for a solution for a new bath tub. Our existing tub has the jets in it. The jet system no longer works and my wife finds it gross. Doesn't like the idea of using the tub for baths even if I fixed the system.
I've looked at some options for covering the holes and recently have considered using Miracle Method for the fix. They will come out and remove the jets, cover the holes with fiberglass, the coat the entire tub with a finish. Overall I think it would be a good solution and at $1500 it'll be cheaper and quicker than me trying to replace the tub myself.
I'm looking for opinions on this. MM offers a 5 year warranty on the finish. Do any of you have experience going this route and have you been pleased with the result?
