Starting an interior remodel today in northwest Dallas. Taking it down to the studs, moving some walls, and doing all new drywall, flooring, countertops, cabinets, fixtures, tile, etc.

Demo day today.

Kitchen demo progress. We will remove the wall between the kitchen and living room and go back with an island, new tops, cabinets, fixtures, and appliances.

I did a kitchen remodel in North Dallas a few years back and installed six LVL's 24 inches tall three ply by myself.
That was a lot of fun and that black insulation sucks!

The black insulation is incredibly nasty stuff.

I didn't do it in a hurry that's for sure and I used a lot of leverage
One end of those big beams really isn't that heavy.

Must've been some water somewhere near where those termites were. They usually won't eat on that old long long leaf Pine Lumber, unless there's water nearby

A lot going on this morning. Framing, plumbing, HVAC.

Framers framing up new walls and replacing termite-damaged lumber. Plumbers digging under slab to make sanitary connections, HVAC roughing in.
