based on prior TA threads we ordered two Toto Drake toilets from Lowes weeks ago.

Installers took them out of the box today to install & both are broken.

Anybody have a good plan B that's in stock at Lowes? We don't have time to wait for Totos at this point in the remodel.

Pro tip - make the drive to Louisiana where they don't have the same water restrictions as Texas. You get a little more water through the flush cycle. I've been running nothing but Toto for 15 years now and they are all great. I only learned this after I bought my last one so I didn't make the drive to LA.

The only hesitation is if you want a sleek one piece look.

We bought 3:

kohler adair
Toto drake
Toto aqua IV

My only gripe with Kohler is that tank refill mechanism makes a bit of a higher pitch.
