I have a rental property that was smoked in and am considering buying an ozone generator to help remove the smell. Are they all made the same? They are priced all over the place. $50, $250, and $1200 all for the same size area.

WOW, the vinegar, baking soda, activated charcoal, making loads of coffee and open windows aren't working fast enough?

testing the $50 unit first might lead to buying more of it or moving to another brand.

Can't recommend one or the other, but I have a business partner that owns several rental properties and he swears by using an ozone generator. Regardless of the homes condition he does an ozone treatment every time before a new renter moves in.

It's got some oomph to it. We stuck it in my office upstairs and closed the door after the puppy had an accident. It was pretty noticeable downstairs. I'd probably start with a small one and go up as needed. Might just take you longer.

I have ran this in numerous rentals that were smoked in and it works good. I usually run it about 24 hours in a unit depending on how bad the smoke is. Looks to be the same model Underoos has.

Also get some ozium spray and smog the house out with it especially near the return air and leave the hvac fan set ON to circulate

So I guess the two recommendations answers my question that there's nothing special about the $300-1200 ones if the $50 ones work well.
