I was reading this board a month back or so and came across a thread with an installation contractor recommendation a number of folks seemed to like. For the life of me I cannot find it now even through searching. Anyone know who that might be or if not, have a recommendation for a quality contractor you have used?

I am looking for someone as well. Looking for someone to talk to about what kind of insulation to put in. Can they also help with this?

Trying to decide between spray foam, radiant barrier, blown in, or batts/rolls

I know that I can't fully use spray foam without making other changes to my house and insulation, but maybe a combination of all these in some sort or fashion.

If I can keep my attic cooler in the summer with radiant barrier or spray, then that will help in the summer time with HVAC equipment. In the winter time, I definitely need better attic on my ceiling vs roofline

Are there any "insulation consultants " that would help me pick the best options ?

They make radiant barrier/foil backed rolls of insulation that can be DIY attic floor as the cheapest/effective
but next best costs but better radiant effects will be blown-in with barrier tacked to rafter undersides.
I would spend extra for mineral wool because it's hard to ruin, lasts forever & more skin/lungs friendly, fire-resistant.
