Anyone in Katy area have done a driveway extension, talking a foot strip along driveway to side wall. Any recs?

Suggesting a photo, some dimensions, perhaps a drawing might gain more suggestions .....

If adding reif.conc "side bar" to same type driveway, it's best to rebar dowel into driveway first then other end captured by the new pour. That said, many might elect to flank conc driveway with pavers on packed sand/gravel ... if I understand the goal.
