We are looking at having new countertops installed. We had granite countertops previously but they were very outdated (color and bullnose). New cabinets were fabricated and installed and now we are finalizing the details on countertops. Just wanted to get any inputs on edges. We thought about square or eased (small bevel). The countertops are likely 2cm quartz. The mitered edge look is nice but comes with a substantial premium. Have any of you had issues with quartz countertops?

Just purchased quartz countertops this week. Went with the square edges primarily for what we thought was a simple, more traditional look. Nice since all the other edges had quite the upcharge.

Ours are slightly rounded instead of a hard right angle. I don't remember it costing more, but its been a few years.

Agreed but a lot more expensive

We had ours installed over 7 years ago. They don't stain, easy to clean and no maintenance

We just finished our kitchen renovation and had Cambria quartz countertops installed. Couldn't be happier with them. Would highly recommend you go with 3cm material.
