My furnace wont run with out that door in place. There's a switch that gets engaged when the door is securely in place. It makes me wonder if they left that off on purpose, hoping you'll call them in the winter when your furnace doesn't work.

Same with one of our units in the attic. During the last check we used a new guy and he didn't snug it in. Of course it was a late Friday afternoon where it jiggled loose enough to engage but I found it in the first few minutes. At least ours was engaged, just leaving it laying around is concerning.

Thanks to all who responded. I called the company, Milestone, and they are sending out the same technician and his manager to double check all the work.

either he did that on purpose or he's a f'ing moron. either way....probably should find you a reputable guy in your area.
