We have a couple inna pot and they are just starting to flower. Should I pinch the flowers off now to increase the yield?

Make sure you wash your hands prior to touching your you know what.

Seriously, I've never done that for pepper plants but I do pinch out tomato plants to help them fill out.

You will want to trim the lower leaves to encourage growth.

You should also steak them so the plant can focus on growing and now keeping itself upright.

So, just remove some of the lower leaves and leave the flower buds alone? And stake it for support?

That's correct. These can grown pretty large but I keep mine around 18-24" tall and can get around 30-50 peppers.

I'm doing Serranos and jalapeños this year and follow this same process.

If you want to get really weird with it, fox farm has a 3 part liquid fertilizer that really makes peppers go nuts. My coworkers and I all do different peppers so we have scotch bonnets, scorpion peppers, ghost peppers, something with chocolate in the name, all kinds of weird but delicious peppers. We traditionally make a salsa with a custom hybrid scotch bonnet that I swear you will never have a better salsa in your life. For a 10am snack myself and 3 coworkers finished off a 24 oz jar off it with just HEB tortilla chips.

How do you apply the fox farm stuff? I cant find any info on their website.....

I have been using it in a pump up sprayer as a foliar feed but not sure if it is working like it should

These are the 3 I use. I put each proper dosage in a 2.5 gallon water pale at the same time. I do this every 2 weeks.

I also put the Orca in there every 2 weeks. This helps the roots considerably. They go much deeper and I believe allows the plants to take up more nutrients but maybe that is in my head here.
