Does anyone have any product recommendations to place on the outside of high efficiency windows to reduce the heat reflection? The reflection from our windows is melting patio furniture, tv remotes, etc.

I have come across a few niche products online but the price tag is outrageous.

Solar screens can be fabricated by local Mom&Pop window shops.
Solar screening can be bought in rolls from Home Depot.

Pergolas that later get covered with vines or even Lexan tinted covered usually shade windows and kill their glare outboard bound.

Others might chime in - given some photos that illustrate best the problem?

Thanks, I'll check out that product. To your second suggestion, the windows are on the second floor, so creating shade is not an option.

That siding melted from the window reflecting ? Or is that just distortion in the picture ?

It's a photo from the website selling the aforementioned expensive product. If it will melt a remote, I wouldn't be surprised if it would do the same to vinyl siding.

I didn't have melting remote issues, but I did have holes burned in my south & western facing lawn after replacing my windows a few years back.

If you've ever done artificial turf you should know about this as any good install company will warn you about it until they're blue in the face…..

We just installed the pop on solar screens like above and never had any issues. Does noticeably reduce the light inside, which can be a good or bad thing
