Wondering if anybody has any suggestions on how to line a wooden walkway with Christmas lights. On part of the walkway, we can stake the lights into the ground, but on other parts, it is blocked by rocks so it cannot be staked into the ground. Trying to think of creative ways to do this- maybe using some kind of bracket & screwing the bracket in to the side of the walkway boards, over the stake holding the lights?

Just looking for some ideas. This one has me stumped. Thank you all!

What about using wooden landscape stakes? I think they range in height from 12 - 36". You could paint them a solid Christmas color or like a candy cane, screw them into the walkway and drape the lights across them.

Zip ties.

Pictures would help a ton in order to game this out.

Could also use hot glue. Holds well to porous surfaces but not the prettiest unless you are really careful about it..
