My wife and I have a unique scenario with a low-headroom closet underneath our staircase. The house was originally built in the 90's with a T12 fluorescent fixture which is on its last legs, and also which we have a tendency to hit our head on. We would like to replace it with one of the LED disk lights which have become very common in recent years as an alternative to recessed lighting in new construction. Does anyone have a specific fixture of this type which you would recommend? Ideally, we would prefer to keep the cost to a minimum since it it is strictly a utility space which is mostly used to store seasonal dcor. Something along these lines is what we are thinking: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Progress-Lighting-Intrinsic-Collection-5-1-2-LED-Slim-Satin-White-Flush-Mount-Surface-Mount-Light-500-Lumens-P810012-028-30/312500439?g_store=&source=shoppingads&locale=en-US&gclid=CjwKCAjwsJ6TBhAIEiwAfl4TWE9x1rCLgCMPU3rgj7Nj4n-yAFIZ0b2ky76-lJNTfty-l04cHIgpihoCmu0QAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

There shouldn't be any issues really, wiring is just as easy as a t12 ballast is to wire up on those. Might have to shove the excess wire up into the ceiling and just mount the light directly to the drywall. If there is not a recessed wire box to mount to, you will want some drywall screws/anchors to mount it to.

My preference is for a Daylight color, 5000-6000 temp color. Provides much better lighting especially in small spaces.
