This is a great way to get your meter locked. The company that replaced mine was tired of waiting so they pulled it themselves. We had 4 technicians show up within an hour and they put a lock on it instead of the plastic band.

Yes, this option is not for the faint of heart

Or maybe the techs were scheduled to show up at the time that they did and then found it had already been removed

They had already completed the removal and replacement before the techs showed up. They were hours late.

I just put in a new 100A panel myself. Granted it was a sub panel but I ran 5 new 240V lines in the garage and upgraded my panel.

There is absolutely nothing difficult about it.

$2500

Does that include running the conduit through the roof from the power line ?
Could you share who you used ?

I didn't use anybody. That's a ballpark cost. If you need an actual cost, you should get a quote. I figured you wanted a ballpark to see if it's even worth it to get a quote.

You should definitely get quotes, but I bet they will be in the $2k-$3k range.

Maybe. Maybe not. OP said upgrade, not replacement, and described redoing the service mast. Could be anything.

Don't know him but several folks on here have used Luchak Electric.

Use Shane

As an electrical project manager I would use him for this, he is fair, honest, and does good work.
