I'm looking for heavy duty garage shelving. I'm partial to pallet rack style vs the cheaper/flimsy thin stuff.

Looking mostly at Ironton from Northern Tool, or Husky from Home Depot. Open to similar styles/brands.

This will go in an "L" shape configuration in my garage.

Short side is 64".
Long side is either 84" or 112", depending on if I tear out some existing wood shelves. I'm not attached to them, but they're more useful than empty space.

What do y'all have/like, what don't you like?

These seem good:

These were flimsy:

I've used these in restaurants, they always seemed to break:

I have a couple of the husky you linked and have zero complaints - they're massive and extremely sturdy. I've seen it on sale periodically for 299 and think it's a pretty good deal at that price.

Good to hear you like them.
At $100 off, I'd jump on the deal.

I have the Husky ones as well. Got them during Black Friday for like $199 or something insane. They are great!

I bought cheap ones because I was in a bind and needing something quickly. As soon as we get moved into our new house, I'm putting the light duty in the garage and getting heavy duty ones for my shop.

We built my shop first to store our belongings while we built on our farm. We are supposedly moving in in a week , but I don't see it. We are 19 months in to a 9-12 month build.

I've been looking at these recently as well to fit out a shed that I'm building. I have some of the wire racks in my garage now, but wanted something slightly heavier duty for the shed. I've had good luck with the Husky and Gladiator style racks on jobs, but I'm leaning towards the medium duty Husky rack below:

I've looked them over in the store and they seem fairly sturdy. I don't plan to approach the theoretical 1k pounds per shelf limit.

I have at least one of each of these and they are basically the same. Hole form factor my differ slightly but they are legit.

I have this exact one and it's awesome. Sturdy and doesn't move with all of the crap that's on it.

Without a costco membership, how can I buy it? It doesn't seem available online?

Ask some of your friends or family. Someone will have a membership you could use.

I have the Sam's Club version that look just like those on Costco link above. Have 5 sets and am very pleased with em. But note they, like Costco version, are listed as 4 tier that are 78" wide and 72" high. The ones in the OPs link are sited as 5 tier and are wider and taller. I paid $159 for the Sam's units last summer.

I have these down one whole wall of my garage and they are perfect for my needs. Very sturdy.

Sams Club has some similar shelves for $180.
They've been out of stock for a while but I saw some earlier today.
