Scrapping a large remodel of our backyard, and deciding just to do a good amount of landscape upgrading. Want to do privacy bushes along the fence as I am surrounded by houses, a couple of flowerbeds, maybe run an electrical line for outdoor lighting and overhead string lights, and may be a few other things such as more crushed rock laid down. Also need a spot to hold a RecTec smoker.
Besides getting the electrical done, is this some thing that is worth getting a landscape designer to do? Or just get our ideas and have our yard guy do it (as he has offered)? We want to ensure we have a very nice finished product, but I don't think we are doing anything over the top. And since there really is no structural build, just curious as to everyone's thoughts about the best way to accomplish this backyard improvement.
Also, any cool ideas to consider are welcome, as well as recommendations for the Katy area.
