Any of you have insight into the minimum size of a lot required to dig a water well for a house?

Assuming no pollution sources nearby, is it just 50 ft from all adjoining property lines?

If you're going to be on a septic system it's minimum 1 acre in Texas

Depends on county too. I am in Parker, and the requirement is 2 acres for a new well here.

Interested in Erath county, there is a groundwater district or soemthing like that. I should probably ask them!
