I close on a house in Katy later this month and I want to get a head start on designing a patio cover so that I can get ARC approval and hopefully have it constructed to enjoy for at least half of the Aggie football season this fall.

I've tried to come up with a design myself, but I've reached a point where I need a creative set of eyes.

I'm not looking for anything high end, but rather something that we can comfortably enjoy for most of the year.

Has anyone had any luck with a smaller outdoor living design/build contractor that you would recommend?

We had done last year on our patio, pre Covid prices. They also removed a window and added French doors from bedroom to the pool. They also floated our old peddle deck with cement and sprayed kool-deck (?) down. And a 6 ft roll up steel door on the detached garage wall to the backyard. We were very happy with the work. At that time, this guy was $10,000 cheaper than two other quotes I got. Robert is his lead guy and does great work.
