We ended up with ~15 in the new gym. The smell has actually gone through what is a 'soundproof' wall and into our closet and bathroom.

I see from the TSC website that these are most likely imported

1. How worried should we be?
2. How long until we can put in equipment and use for intended purpose?
3. Interwebs says Simple Green and time.
4. Insert TexAgs infinite wisdom/solution here.

I cleaned ours with simple green and a push broom then left outside in the sun for a couple days. It'll still smell for a while but it does go away. I think I noticed it for a couple weeks. On hot days you still smell it some but it not terrible at all.

Wonder what material we could lay/glue over top. Need to off-gas quite awhile beforehand? Glue sticking be an issue? Mostly pissed at contractors for up charging without asking and then it reeks.

If the off gas was dangerous the bodies would be 6ft deep inside harbor freight.

Ah the smell of Chinese cancer sweat.

In Afghanistan I had a Chinese mousepad that straight up smelled like gasoline. We rounded the office checking shoes and looking for leaks before we figured it out. Sunlight and air.

Probably too late...but I would never use stall mats from TSC for indoor use. I have some in my garage that smelled for over a year.

When I moved my gym stuff indoors I bought some rolls of rubber flooring from Garage Flooring Inc (https://www.garageflooringinc.com/rubber-roll/12-pre-cut-mega-rubber-rolls.html). These had 0 smell from day one, and less seams as well. Oddly enough a single roll which weighs more than a single stall mat is easier to move around as well.

After realizing that they charged us 'double' for this we are going to have them taken out and put in our own flooring.
Stall mats are $2/sq. ft. and real gym flooring is $3-4/sq. ft. So can't wait for these ass clowns to be gone.

Stall mats? Like for horses? If so, the stall mats in my horse and cattle trailer still smell like chemical rubber. One trailer is 7 years old and the other is about 30. They are high quality mats. Can't imagine what tractor supply mats would be like.
